The geniuses behind The Scientific Principles Of Strength Training have now released Powerlifting Hypertropy Tranining Templates.

I was fortunate enough to interview both Mike Israetel and James Hoffmann shortly after the release of this must read book.

About The Book

As discussed at the time, the book doesn’t contain any raw powerlifting routine or raw powerlifting programs.

What the book does contain however is, the foundation principles behind raw powerlifting programs so you can setup the best raw powerlifting program for YOU.

So you don’t have to blindly follow one program and switch to another once you plateau.

From Books To Templates

Much like after the release of the Renaissance Diet reader asked for a simple way to put all the information of the book into practical application.

Both the Scientific Principles Of Strength Training and the Renaissance Diet contain a wealth of information and can be a lot to take in.

So it can be quite hard to translate all that information into a practical application.

One way to overcome this is to take on coaching at Renaissance Periodization. But this isn’t for everyone.

This led to the Renaissance Periodization Diet Template.

And now… 

Powerlifting Hypertrophy Training Templates

As the name implies, these training program generators are designed to build you a customized hypertrophy mesocycle for your powerlifting needs.

If you want to gain more muscle to help improve your total, improve your work capacity for your strength training, or prevent muscle loss while cutting weight, these templates might be right for you.

The templates are not one-size-fits-all by any means.

In fact, they are customized to the needs of a wide variety of lifter sizes and levels of development.

Nor are the templates “do or die” in their volume requirements.

These templates generate a customized training program when you plug in just a couple of details about yourself. More on that in the video below.

What Do You Get

After ordering the template you’ll get it via email.

You will receive:

  • An Excel File that contains the actual template
  • A RP Training Template FAQ
  • A RP Training Template How To document
  • A 13 minute quick run through with Mike Israetel and James Hoffmann on how to use the templates
  • Access to the Renaissance Periodization customer/clients only Facebook group.

I really like access to the group. It’s 100% troll free because all people are clients and customers of Renaissance Periodization.

Once you receive your template, you’ll have to enter the exercises you choose to do.

You can use suggestions from drop down menus or use your own typed in exercises. You will also need to have a rough 10RM estimate of the exercises you choose to do.

After you punch in the numbers, the excel program generates a full 5 week done for you mesocycle.  4 weeks of accumulation training and one deload week.
